    Remarks: For Scouts 14+ or Life Scouts Description: In this outing, we will be placing rainwater collection pipes on a greenhouse in the Fertile Groundworks land. The rainwater will then flow into a large water basin to be used for the crops in the area. It will require advanced construction work, good patience, and careful attention to detail, so this will be a fun and unique outing for those who are looking to get some service hours. This outing will be only for those 14+. Please come with your activities A and B forms. You can come in any clothing, but just make sure you can dirty it a little. MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED TO MAKE SURE WE DON’T CONTINUE THE COVID-19 SPREAD. Please bring work gloves if you have them. I would strongly recommend bringing a water bottle and jacket.     Remarks: Bionic Bears Patrol 5 Mile Hike Description: Make sure to go all the way to the end of Bollinger Canyon Road, where you will see an END sign and a gate. Take a left into the staging area and park. This is where we will be meeting to start the hike. Make sure to bring be in your Class B uniform, and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. Also, bring your ABC and Consent Forms. I would try to bring a small pack with a little snack and also so it can hold your water. Bring a compass and map of the trails with you. You can print out the map. We will be going over Tenderfoot requirements 5a-c and Second Class requirements 3a-d

    Remarks: All Scouts Welcome Description: Hello Troop 888, For my Eagle Project, we will be building a set of cabinets for the CMT Temple in Concord. My project will span over two days. On April 3rd, scouts will be painting the wood pieces that will be used for the cabinets. This will take place from 9:00am – 12:00pm at my house. I will need a 6-8 scouts to help me complete the painting stage as well as two adults to supervise. Scouts, please wear clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty with paint along with closed-toe shoes and a mask. Please also bring gloves if you have them, if not they will be provided. Also, please make sure to bring your Medical A/B and Consent Forms, as you won’t be able to participate without them. Refreshments will be served. On April 10th, scouts will be constructing the cabinets. This will take place at my house, I will need a total of 8 scouts (with at least 3 being over the age of 14) and two adults.     Remarks: This hike is for Hydra Patrol only. Description: This is a 5-mile hike that will cover 4a and 4b for First Class. It will be at 1035 Castle Rock Rd, Walnut Creek, CA 94598. Please bring lots of water, a mask, a backpack, and hiking clothes/gear. Before the hike, however, we will meet at Gale Ranch Middle School to cover the requirements that need to be covered beforehand. I hope to see you there.

My project will span over two days and the first day occurs on April 24th. On April 24th, scouts will be constructing the mini temple. This will take place at the project beneficiary representative’s house, I will need a total of 6 scouts (with at least 3 being over the age of 14) and two adults. Please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty with sawdust as well as closed-toe shoes as power tools will be used. Also, please make sure to bring your Medical A/B and Consent Forms, as you won’t be able to participate without them.     Remarks: Description: Where: Las Trampas trail. When: April 25th at 10am. What to bring: Compass, map of the park (you can print one at home) water bottle, hat, mask and snack bar. Wear Class B uniform. Wear in layers just in case. Please bring consent form and medical form A,B&C We are covering, Second Class 3A – explaining the meaning of 5 map symbols Second Class 3C – potential hazards that exist and how to prevent them. We will be following safety guidelines keeping 6ft distance and wearing mask during the hike. We will meet at the staging area, Drive all the way to the end of Bollinger Canyon Road, where you will see an END sign and a gate. Take a left into the staging area and park.
