On March 24, when they got to Fertile Groundworks, it was pouring rain. Only 4 scouts arrived to the event out of the 11 scouts who registered, accompanied by ASMs Mr. Tan, Mrs. Chao, and Mr. Narashiman. They were directed to the new dig site where they measured the ditch’s length and distance from other beds before digging a small trench using shovels, picks, and long steel poles.

About halfway through, the rain eased off, and they brought out a tractor with a blade attached to the plow, which made digging much easier.

Despite the rain starting up again, they kept at it, working through the downpour. Despite, the rain and unexpected scout attendance, Aiden made the event run smoothly, getting finished quickly, and efficiently.
