Description: Hello New Scouts,
Welcome to Troop 888. This is your first ever hike as a Boy Scout, and we are so excited to get to know you! We will trek up Las Trampas via the Rocky RidgeTrail (Elevation 1,112.2 ft, 4.7 miles). During the hike we will be working on a few requirements for the Scout Rank, playing some games, and enjoying a snack, at the top. New scout parents are welcome to join although it is not mandatory.
We will meet at the Las Trampas Public Parking Lot (directions below) at 8:00 AM, complete a small gathering activity, and then embark on our hike. We will be back at the parking lot at about 12:30.
Parents,
Please keep in mind that there will be no cellular connection in or around the parking lot, making pick-up difficult. If you are not joining the hike please plan to be in the staging area at 12:30 PM to pick up your scouts. We advise downloading the Map from the Las Trampas website or the google map link below.
Parents, If you will be attending, please register along with your scout and make sure to bring Medical A & B forms.
