Description: It’s time for our annual service project to give back to our Chartered Organization, American Legion Post 246, by helping them with their annual Crab Feed dinner for Veterans. Scouts and adults are needed for the evening dinner service. This is a fun event to give back to the Veterans in our community. Scouts and adults from both Troop 888 and Troop 60 will help support this event.

When: Saturday Jan 27th
Location: Veterans Memorial Building Community Hall located at 105 East Prospect Ave, Danville

Evening Dinner Service: 3:45 PM – 7:15 PM (Need 18 Scouts and 6 Adults)

Check in with the SPL or ASM outside the Veteran’s Memorial Building by 3:45 pm latest. Troop 888 will be working from 4:00 pm to 6:45 pm. Scouts will need to help with seating and serving food. Scouts will bring crab legs and other food to the tables. Scouts will be assigned to serve specific table(s). A pizza dinner will be provided for the Scouts at around 7:15 pm. Scouts can leave by 8pm

Transportation: Scouts must arrange their own transportation to and from the Veterans Hall. We encourage you to carpool by contacting other Scouts who have signed-up to attend.

Parking: Do NOT park in the building’s parking lot as these lots will be used by the veterans attending the event. Use the Public Parking lot at 177 Front St, Danville.

Minimum Age Requirement: 12

Service Hours: Participating Scouts will be credited with Service Hours

Dress Code: Wear full Class A Uniform
