Remarks: Mandatory Meeting for all Scouts in Leadership Positions
Description: This is a mandatory meeting for all Scouts in Leadership Positions this term. Lunch will be served at Noon.

As mentioned in the Leadership Job Descriptions, ILST training is a mandatory requirement that must be completed to get credit for your Leadership Term, therefore attendance is required. If you cannot make it to this meeting, then after discussing with you parents please send me an email with a valid reason on why you cannot make it. If you cannot attend this session, then you must attend the next ILST session (sometime in Jan 2024) to get credit for this Leadership term.

What is Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops(ILST)?
The purpose of the ILST course is to teach Scouts with leadership positions about their new roles and how to most effectively be successful in that role. It is intended to help Scouts in leadership positions understand their responsibilities and to equip them with organizational and leadership skills to fulfill those responsibilities.

What to bring to the meeting?

– Wear full Class A Uniform
– Printout of the latest revision (bottom right must say Rev 08-05-2023 or newer) of your Leadership Job Contract (all pages including Job Description, Goals Worksheet and Assessment). – Paper/notepad for taking notes
– Pen, Pencil, Eraser, highlighters etc.
– Phone (optional and only if you have one) for taking a Survey at the end. Hard copies of the Survey will be available as well.
– Scout spirit and Leadership Attitude 🙂
– Water bottle with water (water will NOT be served)
– Mess kit & Mug (paper plates/forks etc. will NOT be provided)
